Welcome, and thank you for being here on this journey with me! Save the Next Generations is now available online. Together, let's work toward a healthier, more hopeful future.
I tried to keep the book short and to the point so, with everyone's busy schedules and lives, it's easy to get through. The information inside is really important for people to know, and I truly hope it makes an impact.
For 15 years, I was haunted by the task of writing this book—consumed by thoughts on these topics, witnessing how much unseen damage was happening around us, and shedding many tears while researching. If I had to name a regret on my deathbed, not writing this book would have been it. I’m so thrilled to have completed it, and with a full heart, I really am hoping it helps. We have long wanted change, and we can create so much, we also need to keep in mind, to support our little armies, such as pollinators, that keep us going and alive.
It was a big eye-opener for me as a child that food I thought was considered healthy was a major part of what was making me sick. Though autoimmune diseases and allergies were to blame, I couldn’t ignore the long list of chemicals, the large number of health conditions, and how other countries made efforts to protect their people. I grew up near Superfund sites and have seen how lengthy cleanups can be. We can learn from our past mistakes and hopefully stop repeating them.
